Help with CPDock

Install or update

Quit CPDock, open the installer, drag CPDock into Applications, replace the previous app, and reopen it. Updates are currently manual; there is no automatic updater. An update is designed to reuse your existing local library. Back up important content before upgrading, and keep the library folders when replacing the app. Public downloads will be available after signing and notarization are verified.

Activate Pro

Pay through Stripe, check your inbox and spam folder for your key, then open CPDock Settings and choose Activate. Enable clipboard history to start new captures. The basic shelf works without activation.

No new copies?

Check whether Clipboard Capture is on in the CPDock menu or the Clipboard tab. Pro must be activated for automatic capture in a paid build. Private-marker clipboard items and CPDock's own copies are ignored by automatic capture. Clear a search filter if older items seem missing.

Save and organize text or prompts

Click Save to Text beside a Clipboard entry to keep it permanently. In Text, use Prompts or Notes, rename a folder, or add your own. Single-click an item to copy the complete text; double-click to edit its title, folder, body and optional source link. Closing the editor saves your changes. Browser source links are retained when supplied; they can also be added manually.

Privacy and Undo

Privacy mode partly conceals previews while leaving enough visible to recognize them. It does not change the full text copied. Pause capture or exclude source apps in Settings when needed. Delete a clipboard entry using its trash button; the top Undo control restores a recent deletion for up to five minutes.

Combine, split, and media

Combine starts selection; each selection copies the combined text automatically. Paste outside CPDock when ready. Split creates separate Clipboard entries. Browser image drops keep the offered source link. YouTube video-link drops save the available thumbnail; if the image is unavailable, the video link remains.
